Lightly sparkling probiotic drink with citrus and mint. Invigorating, easy to prepare, ideal for summer sipping.

# What You'll Need:

→ Probiotic Base

01 - 4 cups filtered water
02 - 1/4 cup organic cane sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons water kefir grains or 2 tablespoons ginger bug
04 - 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

→ Flavoring

05 - 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
06 - 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
07 - 8 fresh mint leaves
08 - 4 thin orange slices, for garnish
09 - Ice cubes, to serve

# Method:

01 - In a clean glass jar, dissolve cane sugar in filtered water. Add water kefir grains or ginger bug and lemon juice. Stir gently with a non-metallic spoon.
02 - Cover the jar with a breathable cloth or coffee filter secured using a rubber band. Allow to ferment at room temperature (68–77°F) for 24–48 hours until lightly effervescent and tangy.
03 - Strain out the kefir grains or ginger bug. Discard or reserve for your next batch.
04 - In a pitcher, mix the fermented soda base with orange juice, lime juice, and mint leaves. Stir gently to blend.
05 - Fill four glasses with ice cubes, pour the soda mocktail over, and garnish each with a slice of orange and additional mint if desired.
06 - Serve immediately to preserve optimal fizziness.
