# Method:
01 - Preheat oven to 325°F.
02 - Pat chuck roast dry with paper towels and place it into a Dutch oven or roasting pan with a tight-fitting lid.
03 - Sprinkle dry onion soup mix evenly over the top of the beef.
04 - Pour beef broth around the roast, avoiding pouring directly on top to keep seasoning intact.
05 - Cover tightly with the lid or aluminum foil and roast in the oven for 3 hours until tender.
06 - Remove roast from oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice or shred and serve with pan juices.
