# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Incredible Texture: Sourdough's airy structure creates the ultimate crispy crouton.
  • Quick & Convenient: The air fryer delivers perfect results in a fraction of the time compared to the oven.
  • Healthier Option: Control the amount of oil and salt while avoiding the preservatives found in store-bought versions.
02 -
  • Bread Choice: Use day-old or slightly stale bread for the best crunch; fresh bread can be too soft.
  • Single Layer: Ensure the cubes are in a single layer to allow the air to circulate properly for even browning.
  • Storage: Store cooled croutons in an airtight container for up to 1 week at room temperature.
